W Hibbett Neel Award
Description:
This award was established to recognize outstanding contributions to ITE and transportation engineering by private sector members of Deep South ITE.
This award shall be presented to an individual who exhibits such personal traits as integrity, morality, and leadership, outstanding individual accomplishments in their respective field, and organizational service such as meeting participation and Committee work. ITE organizational work to be considered may be on the District level or only on the Section level.
Requirements:
- Must be a private sector employee
- Must be a member of DSITE and ITE International
John Exnicios Award
Description:
This award was established to recognize outstanding contributions to their community, to transportation engineering in the public sector and to Deep South ITE.
This award shall be presented to an individual who exhibits such personal traits as integrity, morality, and leadership, outstanding individual accomplishments in their respective field, and organizational service such as meeting participation and Committee work. ITE organizational work to be considered may be on the District level or only on the Section level.
Requirements:
- Must be a public sector employee
- Must be a member of DSITE and ITE International
Epps/Dart Award
Description:
This award was established to recognize an individual who contributed outstandingly to the education of future leaders in the transportation engineering field and to Deep South ITE.
This award shall be presented to an individual who exhibits such personal traits as integrity, morality, and leadership, outstanding individual accomplishments in their respective field, and organizational service such as meeting participation and Committee work. ITE organizational work to be considered may be on the District level or only on the Section level.
Requirements:
- Must be a current or former faculty or staff within DSITE
- Must be a member of DSITE and ITE International
Outstanding Younger Member Award
Description:
This award shall be presented to an individual who, over that person’s young professional career, has contributed outstandingly to the advancement of transportation engineering and the Deep South Section of ITE.
This award shall be presented to an individual who exhibits such personal traits as integrity, morality, and leadership, outstanding individual accomplishments in their respective field, and organizational service such as meeting participation and Committee work. ITE organizational work to be considered may be on the District level or only on the Section level.
Requirements:
- Must be a member of DSITE and ITE International
- Shall be 35 years of age or younger.
